
Dr Gwendolyn Huang

Gwendolyn is a specialist paediatric dentist who loves seeing children of all ages and children with diverse needs. She loves getting to know her patients and listening to their stories. Gwendolyn’s goal, through the services she provides, is to help children build the foundation they need to maintain healthy and happy smiles as they grow up.

Professionally, Gwendolyn graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery with a concurrent Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science (Dentistry) at the University of Adelaide in 2010, and completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry (University of Adelaide) in 2015. Gwendolyn was also inducted as a Fellow in General Dental Practice with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2015. Gwendolyn completed her advanced specialist training at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, and was subsequently appointed as a Paediatric Dental Consultant in 2017, until she moved back home to Melbourne in 2020 to take up a position at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
Gwendolyn enjoys all aspects of Paediatric Dentistry, although she has special interests in treating anxious children and children with special and medical needs. Whilst embracing the array of paediatric dentistry, Gwendolyn understands the importance of offering quality dental care to children and prides herself on this.
Gwendolyn has been a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD) South Australian and Northern Territory Branch, and is serving on the ANZSPD Victorian Branch committee. Gwendolyn has volunteered in the central Andes Mountains of Peru and central Australia. She is looking forward to her next trip to the Northern Territory with the Royal Flying Doctors Service.

Dr Giselle D’Mello
BDSc, DClinDent (Paed), MRACDS (Paed), FRACDS (Paed)
Dr Giselle D’Mello is a specialist paediatric dentist with a passion for children’s oral health. She has special interest in caring for anxious children, management of dental trauma, and children with special health care needs. She believes in collaborative and inclusive child centred care.
Giselle graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2006 and completed specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry (DClinDent) at The University of Otago, New Zealand in 2011. She is inducted as a fellow in specialist stream with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
As well as working at Bite Size Paediatric Dentistry, Giselle is a consultant paediatric dentist at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, where she has worked since 2012, and a honorary senior lecturer at The University of Melbourne.
Giselle combines clinical dentistry with advocating for children’s oral health, mentoring and training paediatric dental registrars, and developing positive culture within healthcare teams. Giselle is the specialist paediatric dentist not he oral health committee of the Victorian branch of the Australian Dental Association, past president of the Victorian branch of Australians and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry, and the current president of the Australian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
Outside of work, Giselle enjoys travelling with her husband and children and spending time on the sidelines of the multitude of sports her children participate in.
